Former US Presidents are completely immune from all justice systems on the entire planet, and the US Code stanzas go into some depth about this, local justice systems, civilian justice systems, UCMJ military justice systems, Clandestine Justice Systems, Religious Justice Systems, everything around the state's rights and federal rights to prosecute a past president, is completely nullified.
And the reason this is in the code, is because the founders knew that the Rogue Elements fighting for insurrection against the country as a domestic threat, would use vexatious litigation to make the life of everyone except their crammed shabis a living hell.
