>>511303307It's reasonable to be depressed by a bleak outlook. No one with half a brain likes where this shit's headed and we're going to have a bad time in the next few decades. All I can say is that as material conditions also gradually degrade in our countries, states will want their citizens more terminally online, not less. Cracking down too hard on relatively harmless and easily monitored online dissent may prove to be a mistake. Letting us complain about our circumstances to a few thousand like-minded dissidents scattered all around the world is arguably a pressure release valve preferable to what disenchanted gen alphas and beyond will get up to when they're forced to complain IRL or not at all.
In the meantime, all we can do is archive shit, keep an eye on alternative means of communication, and point out that the pot is indeed being boiled to anyone remotely receptive to hearing it.
