I was born in Ukraine and my parents got me the fuck out of there when I was a toddler back in the early 90s. The US, for all its faults, is 100x better than living in Russia where everything is corrupt and everyone is poor (besides a few oligarchs).

Now, Moscow and St. Pete's are nice cities to visit. Clean, orderly, attractive, and mostly nigger-free compared to Western European and American cities (especially within the last ~30 years), but the rest of the country is basically shit and insanely poorly managed, largely due to an oligarch-managed system that optimizes for top-down control at the expense of innovation and efficiency. The entire economy is structured around not giving individuals power against the 'owners', even if the end result would benefit everyone.

Anyway, its a shithole and this is speaking as someone with the ability to fully integrate and land a relatively good job there, if I so chose.
