When Tucker was working at MSNBC, he made a crack about Trump's hair on air one night. when he went back to his office, there was a message waiting on his answering machine from Trump, saying
>It's true, you have better hair than me. But I get more pussy than you.
They've been busting each others' balls for decades, and just because they disagree on things doesn't mean their friendship is broken. trump could still very well endorse Tucker, should he decide to run.

Tucker would unironically be a smart pick for a Republican nominee to try and rebuild the party in a post-Trump world, because a huge slice of Republican voters are already primed to listen to him as a source of truth from his time on fox news. They know him and are comfortable with him, and he is in a position to distance himself from Trump as much, or as little, as the situation by 2028 requires.

The system definitely needs to be fixed. Personally, I think that the first steps need to be election reform to get foreign and corporate interests out of our elections, because as long as our politicians are for sale we cant possibly fix anything else for long.

After that, hear me out: we abolish the Senate. We keep the House of Representatives (in fact, we make it bigger) but the Senate has turned out to be a bad idea that is actively hindering the checks and balances that the three branches are supposed to function on. Too many things run through the Senate as opposed to other branches, and it means that even a couple senators can torpedo the checks and balances that are supposed to keep the other branches of government in check. There is a reason why things commonly pass the house and then die in the Senate, because the Senate has all the power.
Remove the Senate, make the House the sole legislative body of congress, and in doing so you un-fuck a lot of whats been allowed to fester because you remove the means that are currently being used to consolidate the maximum amount of power in the hands of the fewest number of people.

Interesting thoughts. I think a better thing would be to just ditch the federal government, become 50 separate countries, with separate new and safer constitutions, based on the old. Then you could still have common military, common currency open borders between states or whatever, and A LOT more power over your own lives as residents in your respective states. Local authority is and will always be superior, but can't work without a common military etc. Else you're just gonna get steamrolled by China.

The only hope for America in the near future is for a third political party to rise up and dethrone either the Republicans or the Democrats, riding the wave of dissatisfaction with the establishment that has been growing and growing and redefining the political landscape in the process.

But it can't be Elon Musk's party, that would just be "Establishment Republicans 2: Oligrarchy Harder" no matter what promises they make. We need something on either side of the aisle that actually gives voice to the majority of americans that are drowning and need a way out of the ocean.

You could never split America into its 50 states. You might be able to break it up into smaller allied nations, but never the 50 states that currently exist. The infrastructure isn't evenly distributed, the populations and resources don't line up. There are countless states that wouldn't be able to *survive* on their own, you think Colorado is going to keep sending all of their water to California and Nevada without federal law forcing them to?

There is just too much that the federal government does, domestically and abroad, for its absence to be anything other than catastrophic for american interests and the american people. You can weaken the federal government, but you can't afford to remove it entirely.

The most likely outcome of you getting your wish would be the West Cost states forming a power block centered around California, the new england states forming another around New York, and between the the two of them they now have the majority of the population, infrastructure, and wealth of the US split between them. Then they launch separate military campaigns to conquer the rest of america and meet somewhere in the middle, with maybe a couple of smaller holdout regions managing to maintain their own independence.

Trump is simultaneously radioactive and indispensible. More and more people even on the Right want him gone, but the base of MAGA that is STILL loyal to Trump is large enough to swing an election and if they haven't turned on him by now they literally never will.

The Republican party has to find a way to square this circle without splitting into two parties. The more that the GOP rejects Trumpism, the more likely it is that MAGA splits off into its own party.

Makes good sense when you write it like that. Forgot that your infrastructure evolved under a federalized gov't, while most of European countries didn't.
>You can weaken the federal government, but you can't afford to remove it entirely.
Then that's gonna be the take away, I guess. The federal gov't is definitely way too powerful. Same goes for Europe. Glad we have our 3 EU opt-outs in Denmark. We've retained most of our soverignty because of that. Still think EU laws are mainly retarded and overreaching.

Tucker will become president and 180 on everything just like Trump, because hes actually an extremely pro Israel gatekeeper if you listen to what he says. The only reason I dont think Tucker will run is because he is probably more useful to the regime as controlled opposition on the dissident right rather than a presidential figure, but after Trump torches Vancefaggots chances they might need a plan b.

The betting markets have Vance at 56% for being the Republican nominee but he's going to be swamped by the rapidly increasing opposition to more immigration as more and more companies openly flaunt hiring foreigners over Americans. He can't credibly be anti-immigrant while married to an Indian. And with Trump rapidly destroy his own presidency with his loyalty to jews above all else, Vance won't be able to get away from that either, even if he's not in agreement with Trump.
Trump has essentially become Jeb Jr and anyone associated with him will be DOA for the same reason why Trump won in the first place: the people are tired of the deep state and want an outsider, which Trump/Vance no longer are.

Then after being a Never Trumper failed he now has to appeal to this new online right and pretend to be a Nationalist and vaguely racist, but heโ€™s saddled with the leftovers from the original grift where his benefactors thought the tides were going in a different direction. Theres literally no way he can win with a jeet wife and Thiel probably loses sleep over this

Interesting idea. It's called "federalism". You ought to try it sometime.

The states are called states, rather than provinces, because they are independent entities. We used to have a looser confederation after 1777, but that didn't work for some reason (maybe just that England wasn't collecting on its debts) they wrote a somewhat tighter union into the Constitution in 1789.

The extreme similarity of the states is not forced. For example, why do they all have nearly identical Uniform Commercial Code? It's efficient, but nothing forces them to do it.
