The midterms are fixed, republicans hold power. Shit continues as normal as we make the slow grind towards a authoritarian dictatorship with an untouchable president controlling 50 micro-nations with their own interpretation of the "constitution." Civil discourse continues to grow leads to chaos and violence from the left which also leads to

Scenario 3:
Trump declares martial law and suspends the midterms or a continuation of scenario 2 to quell uprising. This is where the fate of the country is decided. The military industrial complex will either side with the president, or the constitution. That's it. Depending on which side the cudgel of the military swings, that will be the future of the United States.
