The most beautiful works of architecture are built for the glory of God, not mansions for the rich.

A mosque is a place for where the rich and poor meet as equals, it provides free water as well as free shelter for the poorest.

Most importantly, it provides a space for making daily prayers as a community, especially on Fridays during Jummah where a khutba (sermon) is delivered.

Many mosques, such as in Madinah, serve Ehsan meals. It literally means kindness meal, meals that are served for free as a gift.

Islam provides the blueprint to build Jannah al Dunya, Heaven on Earth. It is called Shariah, which means the clear and well trodden path to water.

Islam creates a world where we are one people in one tribe under One God and take care of one other on a physical level. It is a form of governance given to us directly from God.
