like they've spent more on it than nukes cost to develop as a technology, it's not going away man, you cannot vote or even shoot your way out of this anymore, it's absolutely over.
but the fact is that replacing multiple people is a long way out, we're still at the point where one person operates one Ai, it cant sit there and do a job over and over without human input to keep it on the path of desired behavior/output, and for each specialized domain you set these Ais to work on, you need human expertise, the scraping they've done isn't enough for these things to even run a vending machine without going off the deep end, having what looks like an emotional breakdown from going bankrupt or even reporting itself to the FBI for fraud. that's a fundamental limitation of these systems, they still need operators with intent and knowledge of the work the Ai is doing, and ultimately, it's still one person per Ai in terms of ratio.
