The tea party today proves exactly how this sort of shit will end up - you'll have every fucking service online demanding PII access to verify your age, and inevitably a bunch of these services won't have the know-how or the good sense to actually delete or secure said PII and it'll inevitably get leaked. Thousands, maybe millions of people will suffer irreparable social and economic damage and the whole thing will come crumbling down.
