Do you have ANY idea how fucking hot it gets in Texas almost every year? We need to have heat shelters open for emergencies because people get fucking heat strokes all the time during summer.

I live in the dark red area of western Colorado. Sun has been blazing this summer. We're in the monsoon season now. It's dry as hell now though. I've been watering my cactus the past week it's so dry.

>1-2: Low (minimal risk from UV rays for the average person)

Wear sunglasses on bright days.
In winter, snow can reflect UV rays and nearly double exposure.
Use SPF 15+ sunscreen if you burn easily.

>3-5: Moderate (moderate risk of harm from unprotected sun exposure)

Cover up, wear a hat and sunglasses.
Use SPF 15+ sunscreen.
Stay in the shade near midday when the sun is strongest.

>6-7: High (high risk of harm from unprotected sun exposure)

Seek shade during the midday hours.
Wear protective clothing, sunglasses, and SPF 15+ sunscreen.

>8-10: Very High (very high risk of harm; sun protection is essential)
Read more Weather

>11-12: Extreme (extreme risk of harm)

Try to avoid sun exposure from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Reapply SPF 30+ sunscreen every 2 hours.
Seek shade, wear full coverage, and use sun protection.
>13+: Hellfire (You are already dead)

I used to be whacky, I'm still whacky but differently. Anyway I thought it would be very good for my health to sun my penis and balls. I spent a hour nearly every day during the summer of 2015 with my legs spread open towards the sun flipping my dick around occasionally, literally roasting my weiner. A few years ago I started getting brown spots on my penis, both head and shaft, and I've only been developing more and they're expanding. Be careful guys.

This isn't about heat, it's abiut UV. Granted they are related though heat doesn't literally burn you like UV. Heat makes you sick. UV burns your skin. You can get a sunburn at -40 fahrenheit from UV.

It's pretty common to get an 11 UV index here. That's when you feel the sun cooking you. Five minutes of exposure leads to light sunburn.
>How do you cope
Sun block, hats, flax shirt with long sleeves, etc.
Most important thing? Don't go outside during peak sunlight hours unless necessary. The good thing about it is that we usually lose around ten or so joggers and cyclists who chase their retarded high and get their brains cooked out of their skull. If you are too fucking dumb to run in place, on a treadmill, or stationary bike indoors, your death is a net positive for humanity.

Sadly, it doesn't kill niggers though.

At high elevation it will. That's why blacks don't live in the mountains, not even African mountains.

Not to downplay Texas heat. It certainly is hot as fuck down there. There is a huge difference in UV between Texas elevations and the mountain elevations though. No way anyone can be burned the same in Texas as someone at 5000' or worse 10,000'. Elevation changes UV in ways Texans simply don't experience.

What you are experiencing and describing is heat related. Georgia's low elevation and high humidity literally protects you from UV rays. Come to the mountains in the spring. Stand around in short at high noon. You'll be sunburned in ten minutes regardless of temperature.
