It's illegal to wear any religious garments while working for the province of Quebec, such as burqas, crosses, etc. They have the best social safety nets in the country, socialized everything, a separate pension fund and tax collector from the rest of canada, and have much more control over immigration then any other province. Oh, and they don't like English at all, to the point where if you have a business, you have to conduct ALL business in French (technically), including non-customer facing roles. Only half of them even speak English.

Basically, it's a separate country that funds itself with our taxes.
