The police were called by her a couple times; and the officers disregarded it because of said membership in the Lodge. I found out when she showed up at my house a few months ago at 1:30 AM, bruised and beaten. I actually confronted the Worshipful Master directly the next day. I was threatened with all kinds of miscellaneous things; and I have been harrassed by the police lately as well whereas I've never had an encounter with the law my entire life.

My lodge sits on the border of two small towns, and the mayors of both towns are members of the lodge, as well as several police officers, public school principals/teachers and business owners. The corruption that caused me to leave was this:

Their cruisers are seen passing my house 7-8 times a day. At least.

In reality, a normal monthly meeting (first Monday of every month) is extremely boring. We open the Lodge on the degree of the lowest ranking member (So if there's like a first degree member, the opening ritual is set to reveal only first-degree lines and such).

Then we discuss things like whats going on in the community lately and what we can do to help and when we should hold our annual dinners/celebrations and the like. We even have Masonic Superbowl Parties that many people attend.

All the dark stuff I've seen usually happens outside of the meetings; when the members are in plain clothes and having a beer with eachother at their houses.

Well, the story I wrote about the WM's daughter hit me home pretty hard. She's devastated and I'm very, very angry with the WM and the officers who used to be my "Brothers" and are now citing me for stupid crap like "parking against the flow of traffic" and not "signaling in time for the turn."

I haven't had any backlash at my job (poker dealer), except that I'm not getting tipped as much as I used to. I will not lie to you on this, however; the Worshipful Master in the year of 2010 was mentally unstable. He conducted satanic rituals at his house (NOT at the Lodge), and I was told by another member what happened at the ritual. He killed a small dog.
