It is now part of the culture, like anti-Semitism in Europe in the early 20th century.
But pedophilia is also normalizing because of how ubiquitous the discourse is. It becomes more dangerous, but also more palpable. What was once abstract is becoming more human. Years ago, children were innocent. Now even the most hardened anti pedo has to admit children have a sexuality. Things are changing, hopefully for the better. But there are dark years ahead, either way.
