Only thing that matters in attrition war is how much damage you’re dishing out and how much you’re taking.
And even going by most conservative estimates (that aren’t outright propaganda like UKRAINIAN GENERAL STAFF LMAO, or US GLOWIES), Ukrainians at best have 1:1 parity with Russians. In honest reality, it’s probably 2:1 in Russian favour, some sources/data points indicate even more.
That’s just not good enough. They will lose. And they will lose quickly once their front collapses somewhere and they run out of meat to shove into the gaps.
This isn’t the first war of attrition in human history, and no, drones aren’t so powerful and omnipresent they can replace absence of good old infantry.
