The SED is currently seeing a resurgence by baiting all the women into voting for them.
You're probably correct though - the SPD and Grüne will keep bleeding voters to the left, whereas the CDU (and SPD again, kek) will keep bleeding voters to the AfD.
But there is no coalition partner for the SED of relevant size left, whereas the CDU will inevitably start forming coalitions with the AfD when there is simply no other option left (i.e. state level elections in the east).
