within a generation, two max, you could create a culture of living in balance with the planet and each other if the bottom levels of Maslow's hierarchy were taken care of (ie if people's needs were met, they wouldn't act like savages anymore)
for less than the US government spends on defense contractor procurement in an average year, you could build a network of schools and community centers in every single country in the world, along with electricity, clean water and an initial micro-grant program to incentivize local people to join up (if you want people to do something, pay them to do it)
networks of corruption and the old systems they are propping up are actually incredibly brittle- hierarchy means there are points of failure all over the system. remove their sources of wealth and they would collapse nearly instantly, and all the energy and resources tied up in them would flow almost instantly to whatever new structures you set up.
another thing is, we have at least 50 years of technology locked up under classified patents, including free energy. it would be so easy, and relatively cheap, to roll this technology out and phase out our current primitive systems, and usher in an era of abundance. "overpopulation" is a false narrative, constructed by people who want to justify their massive crimes against humanity.
there are so many possible futures, and so many of them would be so much better than our current world.
