Absent father. Elliot spent several entire summers just rotting in front of WoW and never made any kind of effort with his life and his father treated him like an inconvenience. The dad plays ignorant in interviews but had he actually been present in Elliot's life he would've seen things were going in a bad direction years before the shooting.
At the end of the day his main problem was entitlement. He was a socially awkward, ugly, hapa. He really thought the designer clothes or shades would elevate him enough get him a 10/10 blonde. He should've just traveled to some poor Asian counties over his summer breaks. Get the virginity "out of the way" to avoid overthinking and insecurity.

I'm not mad, i'm not happy, i feel helpless and i just watch, i watch those poor souls not knowing that they were already naturally selected by the age of 12-13 in an environnement with rough competition in which girls of their age already know whats up and knows what makes their crotch tingly who will just get socially repelled unconsciously, its like some sort of algorithm an antenna they have.
And i just watch in pity the poor boys who wanders around with a pain they can't fully explain nor put their fingers on what and why is it happening.
