What word was used to describe today's jews in the bible?
How come the verse says "jews" and "jewry" meaning the modern jews
when it is followed by the explanations of "jew"(I assume the modern one) being a mistranslation of "judean" [I understand that today's jews were not judeans]

It is speculation over a long dead religion, I dont think modern Jews actually practice Hebraism or Judaism like depicted in the old testament bible or they would be every bit as brutal and violent as radical Islam

jews (or "Judaeans") claim to be from the tribe of Judah, hence the name "Judaean", but they are not, they lie, and are the synagogue of Satan (Revelation 2:9, 3:9). They label themselves "Judaeans" and even "Israel", but they have no Biblical right to call themselves this name. None.
They are the synagogue of Satan, literally.
How is this complicated to understand? how is it complicated to realize that when you look at "the jews"/"judaeans", you are looking at a mixed racial peoples who obviously do not have any pure lineage to the Israelites of the Bible.

Israel also does not mean Judaeans, Judaea was the last remnant nation that God was still married to way back in the days of Jesus. He came out of Judaea and took his true people (true Judahites and Benjamites) with him and brought the Gospel to the scattered Israelite nations (James 1:1). The absolute most of the Israelites from the northern kingdom were scattered and became heathen nations.

You have to get rid of the talmudic concept that the people of the Bible are "jews", they are not, not in name and not by race. The people that you know as "jews" have NO relations to the tribe of Judah or any of the other twelve (12) Israelite tribes.
