Do you think a civil war is just impossible to ever happen again in the US?

People are too comfortable even at their worst now. I cannot see our streets turned into a warzone/bloody conflict where people are forced to pick a side.

Majority non-White USA will experience a crisis of competence and will be unable to project power globally. The USA will then lose hegemony and collapse from USD no longer being the world reserve currency. Once the currency is worthless there will be a civil war followed by balkanization. Water from the Colorado River will be cut off during the civil war or after balkanization. Humans can survive only three days without water. The American Southwest and northern half of Mexico will be depopulated.

That involves a complete collapse of our financial markets though? I think we're still just too strong, again even at our worst.
