trump unironically destroyed everything and trashed our future. no im not memeing i actually voted for him in the futile belief he would change things from biden - well he did - he made things worse in entirely new ways while mostly keeping bidens worst things.

unironically its over, the us is going to crash and burn economically by next year, and before you laff were gonna take you down all with us, were a black hole and youre all caught in our obese gravity well

im never going to do this again but i sincerely apologize to the global human population - you guys deserve a better imperial hegemon. im sorry, were sorry, we tried to fix things but its hopeless, its over, ide kms but i want to live to watch the apocalypse

A "cheap" entree at a restaurant is $20+ now. Average entrees are like $30+. Drinks are $8 on the low end, $15+ on the high end.
If you want affordable options to eat out, you're basically limited to food trucks.

Less foreign tourists. Country is functionally 25% Mexican and they are scared to travel because their documents will be scanned at the airport. Rent and car payments are up 50% in tge last 5 years, nothing left over for 3 day weekend trips or splurges for ordinary Americans. Can't do a national park summer roadtrip.because doge fired everyone and fucked up the reservation system. Disney crawling with trannies and fags. Rather just hang in my remodeled house and back yard or take a boat out on the lake for the day.

Biden got inflation to 9.1%, now it is 2.7%. This is a freaking miracle recovery in six months.

As soon as inflation goes under 2% the fed will start to lower rates (unless trump pisses them off) and the US economy will start skyrocketing.

All the news you are seeing are just dem bullshit propaganda to try to explain why trump will get demolished in the midterm. If they don't do that it will be too easy to tell they are cheating again and they don't want to be called out on it again.

Restaurants are crap. Other than individual local places, a decent handful of which exist in each city or town, they're all either chains serving the same goyslop, or places buying frozen goyslop from megacorps like Aramark.

Real estate pricing is through the roof. Nobody has the time or money to fly to Vegas in order to waste even more money gambling. Vegas is a boomer thing; picrelated.

The root problem is monetary. As long as banks can create money of of nothing, boom/bust cycles will continue

Vegas has been dying for a long time. Throughout its history it's had to constantly reinvent itself to stay relevant and that worked for decades. But now it's become so sterile, secure, corporate, and family friendly that the appeal it had is gone. It's not the last place in the wild west anymore and it hasn't been for a long time. Now it survives on and Carter's to mostly Chinese tourists.

Yes it's dead relative to a few years ago from what I hear really you should be paying attention to conventions there and I havenot been. Hot waitress index is up in my area but everyone not shitcanned from government job are still buying fast casual or better meals, and we have a prettier baseline in the DMV. Strip clubs are also down from what I hear but I'm going to confirm that this weekend and do some propper haggling. Know these are often localized phenomena but helpful if you look in the right place. Our economy is just ahead of the curve, Trump's a tard in this era or else intentionally fucking thing. Copper tariffs don't make sense, no commodity tariffs do except for niche situations. Even if such thing get walked back it spooks capital and causes fear and market reverberations. Stay away from here you're liable to be killed in an automobile accident or robbed or accosted by a government retard. It'll come to you too but you can negotiate with neighbors in ways we no longer can. Even the stock market gains are lies. Only briefly was a bubble accepted in the last correction and we've reached new ATHs since then. Nvidia set a record for market cap. Eventually downward pressure from plebs will force reality and that's why tards are screaming about interest rates. Homes remain too high in principle not interest but no one wants to be underwater so they scream and yell. Fortunately people who lose their jobs are going to foreclose or sell at a loss anyway. In some areas new construction is now cheaper than decades old homes. Builders are in a tight spot giving out discounts to stay afloat. Such things are temporary fixes, eventually the broader reality can no longer be ignored. This stands as contagion for financial institutions who will have to sell at a loss such assets. The banks are much larger than they were in 08. So you'll have bailouts (hyper inflation) or you'll never find someone to absorb the loss.

I see fewer van vagabonds as well. The homeless people are all broken down in urban hellhole camps these days, not wandering freely across the backcountry like they did only a few years earlier. The kike control is really locking down. You might as well protest the Thai king in Thailand. The reaction is the same if you protest Jewish control in America.

Groceries are way up since Trump was elected. Don't let anyone bullshit you. Orange juice is $4.79 for a 52 oz bottle. Eggs are $3.99 for the discount store brand, $5.99+ for the basic name brands. The cheapest 4pack of toilet paper has gone from 75 cents to $1.25.

Blacks have become more noticeable than spics everywhere you go in muttland. Venezuelans don't loiter around in public anymore, or drink beer around a car with their buddies. The illegals have all gone underground.

The idea that we need foreign investment or spending is retarded (Trump is wrong about this as well). Only US banks can create dollars. The idea we need to print dollars, exchange them with foreigners only for foreigners to give them back to us is nonsense. Once again the problem is that we've given away the ability to create our own currency to private banks.
>the west is mad as fuck at us
We ARE the west. The west isn't mad at us, the globohomo elements of the west, which are not western, are mad at us. What do they matter? Are we supposed to give away our country to H1B jeets and beaner illegals because of muh tourist dollars?

The economy is different now than it was then, far more capable of self sufficiency and requiring less varied inputs to function. We didn't have to worry about importing platinum and the effects not having it could have on manufacturing or even the service sector our economy is largely based around. Web services are services and we need copper and nickel and silver. Mines here have stagnated and efforts should have been put into onshoring commodity production, refining and manufacturing prior to initiating tariffs as they are. Now building plants becomes more expensive. Capital to invest in such plants is worried that the next president will fuck them over as both Biden and Trump have done to fuels and green projects respectively. Can't undo the future and trump should have let things funded in his absence continue to set precedence for the next decade. We should have overhauled permitting and power production likewise before fucking up inputs. If only you knew how bad things really are. There isn't enough power or water for many data centers so their telling proles to turn their AC down to prevent blackouts and in PJM increasing prices. Dominion just walked back some transmission projects and I don't blame them. You have faggots that don't do the work, don't spend their own money and understand neither dictating policy predominantly for their own selfish interests. We don't have what we need for right now. There are complex machines in incredibly tight supply such that we are one bad week away from a real emergency. There made all over the globe and only due to this global sourcing do we have enough to barely scrape by if nothing breaks or is sabotaged by the increasingly poor proles.

Each one is a bet or skipping propaganda to get sooner to the next bet. Casino boomercades are incredibly dystopian. Feels good to win a little on some tables and then walk through boomer hell of bodies, smoke, flashing lights and arcade sounds watching money get burned in real time by the worst generation. If that money was put into collectizing even only at the family level life would be several factors better. Strip clubs are less of a social and economic blight and dying anyway. They are a monument to our excesses and casinos increasingly giving space to slots is tragic in it's own way.

Money printing is only valuable when commensurate in production and invested into gaining more production. For one MMT no longer works, we get less than a dollar back on every dollar spent, too much fat and incompetency. A loan is fine when it's used correctly IE I buy a tractor on credit to increase yields and use the increased harvest to pay off my load & maintenance on my investment. We don't do this anymore. We rely on inflation to stay ahead of debt but at current rates this causes everyone to include foreign investors to lose money on bonds and hesitate on buying. When this happens we have to pay off the credit card with another fucking us in the moment and we have to increase yields fucking us in the future and telegraphing to the entire world that trust is lost. Check out who the largest holders globally of T Bills are right now and then look at what this money "pays" for. Without it you have to print just for continuity of government but it only kills the state faster. Foreign dollars will always matter until you have a country worth something again.

We do not have a country, but an economic zone.
However, the death of travel is basic practicality and logic.
>Make everywhere the same
>No point in going elsewhere
It's as simple as that.
You can go on about planes identifying as sidewalks, controlled demolition of the economy, etc, but those are win more conditions.
If others really were intent on going somewhere, they would find a fucking way no matter what.
As it is, only the following groups travel:
Boomers (dying and gambling away their children's futures).
Corporate cucks (getting rapidly downsized).
Fefails (using stolen money from men that is running out)
Jews (but they have better bread and circuses than vegas and the now defunct island).

MIGA should have the intelligence and integrity to understand inflation measures are that of rate of change. 3% on top of 9% is getting turbofucked unless wages somehow out pace it which it hasn't especially given jobs and economic data have been cooked books for two presidents now. They are lies that still get revised down. Jobs are getting scarce even if layoffs are downish, hiring freezes are in effect. This is downward pressure on wages and tariffs are always inflationary to some degree. Give me deflation or stop shilling nonsense "we're bleeding to death less slowly now."

The latest scam is the big hotels keep a 2 hour line at the check-in desk all the time then offer the suckers in the line $60 express check in. Otherwise you can sit in line

It's all being held up by the stock market which is increasingly relying on a few mega cap companies which cannot forever escape needing to sell something to a customer with money. Looking at earnings increasing cost to drive earnings looks like it's completely maxed. Increased earnings are coming at the cost of reduced sales even from companies not particularly affected by tariffs and rumors of tariffs. They'd rather close locations than lower prices. McDonald's is in such a death spiral now but it's not alone. In some cases prices can't be reduced, Mcd killed itself with ad revenue and beef is way the fuck up.

Excellent post

Them insisting on running Biden again and being like "of course he's fine! he's been doing a great job why would we change him out?" until they realized they literally couldn't keep up the facade any longer and had to switch him just a few months before the election gave me absolutely zero faith. Take Coca-Cola for example. A 2 liter bottle is $3 now, about double what it cost in 2020. So they sell a lot less product but for double the price. In the end, profits still increase because of the much higher price per product and because many fewer workers and plants are needed to produce less volume.
Many companies are following this model now. They sell fewer items but at much increased prices and so they need fewer workers and factory and warehouse space also.
Things are never going back to the pre-2020 ways, and even those times weren't so great.

>Means were heading into a recession thats it
The problem is that a recession will come with a price tag of around $10 trillion just to stave off a banking collapse.
After 2008, when the banks weren't allowed to collapse so that new practices and businesses that adhere to them could flourish, the government and big corporations basically melded together as one entity. Every economic collapse risks political collapse, and the economy is so fragile that every recession risks economic collapse. So every recession requires huge bailouts to keep the system running for a while longer, albeit at a lower level of functionality.
The only way out of this death spiral is a total system reset, but that requires something like a world war to achieve. It takes a giant calamity to shake people and corporations out of their entrenched practices and expectations.

Inflation is increasing, not decreasing. All those foreign pledges for investment are lies to flatter Trump to keep tariffs down. The EU straight up admitted it. The cuts to spending are peanuts, and don't even begin to offset the new spending that was in the OBBB. The only positive is the stock market, which is being entirely propped up by Big Tech. If their AI bet doesn't pay off, the bottom will fall out of the market. Also, if you look at the bond market, there are serious cracks showing that will only get worse as the US becomes incresingly unable to service its debt. Yes, the people in charge are betting the whole farm on AI, hoping it will be the new internet and will generate trillions of dollars per year in new economic activity. i dont understand the AI economic argument at all - best case scenario the AI is really smart and puts millions of people out of work the AI creates a huge labor surplus - what are you going to do with it? scrub toilets? have millions of high school teachers become AI coders? what are they even coding for at this point? what apps need making that we dont already have? are we going to have AI control farming and mining? again - what do the farmers and miners do? who buys the surplus food and minerals? with what money? to do what with? build more AI centers? are we trying to replace human labor entirely? how do people mke money to buy AI products?

and thats the best case scenario - the worst is that AI is a lobotomized boondoggle and we just wasted trillions on data centers and training ML techs

And how do you know they weren't dancing to celebrate their life and their soul finally being reunited with the Lord? Don't always immediately assume the worst. Some people are very spiritual and dancing is how they express their grief and also some believe it stomps out/scares away all the bad spirits from the grave site.

You know what they say, when you ASS-U-ME, you make an ASS outta U and ME.

Hope this helps

I just got back and it seemed like there were a decent amount of people there. There were notably a fucking ton of Asians there, Chinese I think. So international tourism is down. I think it's just a bunch of white Canadians and Europoors pretending no one is coming here. Blue checkmark libtards keep posting videos of Vegas at 4 AM saying it's empty. A lot of places actually are closed at that time, that's what surprised me the most. It was like 11 AM and I wanted to go to the food court and get a drink before bed but it was already roped off. Maybe it closes early now because of this supposed lack of tourism? I doubt it. There is less to do in Vegas at 4 AM and people get tired so they go to sleep. But that's the videos that always get posted. The "city that never sleeps" is just a myth.

What you've got to realise about the USA is that the dominant culture is the puritan protestant English/German.
Protties have a proud and noble tradition of following the reverend word for word and believing every bit of it.
Catholics had debates and discussions all the time. Protestants would simply schism away if they disagreed about anything. In other words, avoid debate, avoid discussion, pack their bags and run away.

Trump is the first time in the history of these people where they can't run away from their problems and have to face them head-on.
I knew Trump had to win in 2016 and that it was essential, not because he was going to save America, but because he was going to show Americans that they absolutely have to stop trusting strangers with their lives, man the fuck up and go fix their system themselves for once, on a local level, the most local level: the family.
It simply took another idiot in the seat and a delayed return for Trump's treason to hit. The question is whether the Statesians at large are going to fix their shit now, or if they're still actually thinking that if the gouvernment suddenly turns good, women suddenly get fixed and the economy suddenly stops being kiked.

COVID also drove prices up and fucked up the supply chain and then even after the supply chain got fixed our corporate overlords just kept the prices high because people had gotten accustomed to paying them and they wanted to make up for the lost revenue from the COVID shutdown.

So you've got people who don't really like to go out as much as they used to, entertainment venues that have jacked up their prices, and a working class population that can't afford the jacked up prices. The end result should be obvious.

>WTF has Trump done to the economy?

This was all in place before Trump got on the scene. If anything Biden's retardedly long COVID lockdown policy laid the groundwork for all this fuckery. While wage stagnation has been going on since the 1980s.

No it doesn't. Eating out is a luxury for most people right now, I can make the same fucking meal they serve at diners for less and it tastes better. I can buy 3-4 pounds of ground beef and have enough meal prepped burritos with shredded cheese, sour cream, etc. for a whole week or more for under 60 dollars.

Insider here. Nobody wants to admit it. But I'll say it. We are experiencing a wide scale population die-off. Since 2020, we've been having a steady die-off of the people. All the weird stuff that we've all been noticing in our society is happening because of the die-off.
Quality of standards ans services getting shitty, since 2020. Airplanes dropping out of the sky. Not as many people out and spending money on recreation, since 2020. All of it and more is due to the die-off.

MGM and Caesars were extremely over leveraged after the 2008 housing crash. They weren’t expected to survive. All the bullshit we’ve seen with resort fees, selling the physical land and buildings and leasing them back, parking fees. and other tricks is all a result of the financial smoke and mirrors to recover from that era. Wynn didn’t sell their land underneath them, they are arguably the only “real” big strip resort left. MGM and Caesars are just management companies now, they don’t even own the walls of their hotels.

The ways that the late Roman Empire was mired in bureaucracy and legalism while the fundamentals began to rot away and the military gradually lost its will is an apt comparison. Granted people have compared the USA to Rome even before 1776. As a culture we're experiencing either our death or our awkward young adult era. The parasites in control are well past eating the tail. Pre-globalization I would say we'd be in for a transition to either Balkanization or some form of revivalism, but as it is the domestic powerful will attempt to keep the thing going far longer than is natural, making the blowback far worse.
Still I don't want to dramatize things - this will be a gradual decline over decades.

You are extremely optimistic. Once the cash runs out, people will see the walls erected around them. The country will then completely fly apart because everyone has access to weapons. Already started with Trump's SCOTUS choosing to divide the country by court districts, which runs afoul of the Fugitive Slave Act. It only takes Texas chosing to extradite ex-Texans living in California for abortions to completely break law and order when California refuses and sends it's forces to their border to stop Texan forces from entering. The Federal government, as before, is run by a retard that won't be able to meaningfully stop the crisis until states are already nationalizing their police forces into civil protection units as a domestic military. But because police aren't legally the military, Trump can't just nationalize them under his power to fix the problem. At this point the Courts have no power, and all law becomes dictated by violence. And really, most Americans would want things this way. This world I've described attributes enormous power to blue states. Suddenly, California could freely bully Nevada & Arizona while Illinois controls through industrial chains the entire midwest.

Worse -and what we are leading to- is the destruction of the US Dollar for the US Crypto Dollar or state-issued Cryptocurrencies. Because states no longer require mints or physical assets to make money now, because money isn't even real anymore, New York can make New York Dollars and require the NYSE to exchange it. Jews will go for it because they completely control NY State and won't have to deal with bitching in Congress anymore. This is the planned, coordinated, and likely successful destruction of the United States into regions and then (at best) a confederacy, then separated states run by Jewish corporations that will legalize slavery and reintroduce Feudalism. Which has been the goal all along.

Yeah, the late stages of the republic.
The expansion of colonial provinces and industrial hollowing out in the mainland, widening gap between rich and poor, the weakening of the citizen army's moral and cohesion and the transition to a professional army, the conflict between the plebs and the patricians, bloody mutual retaliation and the paralysis and loss of authority of senatorial system, and the civil war.
