If a private police officer attacks you, you can charge him with assault.

sheriffs aren't, they're decentralization. even if we lived in monarchy, the sheriff would be a local appointed by the Count. In a republic, the landowners vote to appoint the sheriff, taking on the role of the Count, what the jews did with subverting democracy was increasing the cost of campaigning and monopolization of media towards campaigns, so they gatekeep the price of admission and the tools, setting themselves up to be the most advantaged in paying the price of admission and having the tools to do a campaign. And also they allowed transient (non-landing owning) populations a vote, so they can demographically D&C very difficult localities where the people are small in number and not divisible -- ie places where Sheriffs oversee the local peace. Cities with large populations and states and federal government are all totally vulnerable to what they're doing.
