That's the thing, most people aren't homeless because they couldn't pay rent, but because they DON'T WANT to pay the rent.
They WANT to drown themselves in alcohol and drugs and do nothing, and panhandling makes more money than many peoples min wage jobs anyway.

Before all the mental institutions were shut down decades ago, the homeless were institutionalized because opting into homelessness and drug addiction is a fucking mental problem.

During breeding season they stand there in broad daylight like what. The bobcats have lost their fear of humans and that deters quite well. But if you read the reddit posts about what really lurks there you may see a larger reason no camps are in those woods.
