More broadly I think there is a push by the ruling class in the west to convince people to work harder for less, both just by the innate logic of capitalism and because at some level of strategic analysis they are probably concerned with the fact that the West's labor is overvalued which undermines its global competitiveness. Shilling the pajeet / Asian "we takin over ytboi" angle could thus represent an attempt to get people to accept those poorer working conditions by framing them in terms of ethnic threat: if it's just your boss demanding that you work 80 hours per week for the same pay you're more likely to call bullshit than if you see it as "I don't want to get outcompeted by Indians"
