You can still download movies, anime, tv shows, mp3's, video games / roms with Tor. It'll just take you a bit longer and you might have to refresh the download occaionsally if it stalls. Sorta like back in the early days of DSL downloading 700 mb divx file of a DVD movie rip. Thankfully here in the U.S. the government hasn't gone full fascist on pirating YET. It's coming sooner than later even to 'murica. But not yet.

Not really. My point is that they will not compromise their near-perfect network when they have all the conventional methods of prosecuting any threat. Silk Road and all the big markets were shut down by the police doing traditional police work, TOR wasn't actually compromised. It's simply not worth it, their use case for the network far outweighs your use cases.
What you do with TOR is completely irrelevant from their perspective unless you become a big enough problem, as in capable of challenging their monopoly on violence, which is not even in the realm of possibilities.

Anon, let's not be silly.
Glowies control all (let's say 95%) of all Tor exit node servers .
If you are using a glowie controlled Tor. You are one out of maybe 100 people on your global network who uses TOR. You are literally leaving a MASSIVE footprint as to who is this anon and why is he using tor.
However.
If I am using regular browser , I am one out of 1 bln people who's traffic looks all the same.
>if you do the right things
>like have adblockers
>block 3rd party javascript etc.
If you block basic trivial security holes.
There's 1 bln of these traffic streams a day.
Glowniggers don't really have the infrastructure to track all 1 bln users / day.
You are hiding behind 1 bln normies and NPCs.

Internet anonymity is just a matter of trading off speed and convenience for security. The greater the trade-off you make, the greater the tradeoff a threat actor (including the authorities) also has to make to break the security.
If there is enough incentive and resources for a threat actor to break the security they eventually will.
So if the authorities have enough political interests to invest in the time and resources to break the security you rely on for whatever you are doing they eventually will.
If what you are doing with anonymity doesn't involve significantly undermining the political interests of the authorities you have no other practical means to mitigate the risks of being caught. The point is to make it extremely expensive and time consuming for ever diminishing returns for the authorities to keep going after your anonymous ass.
The greatest problem is that nothing is secure against your own human folly (i.e. your own stupidity, ignorance, complacency, arrogance, etc.).
Internet anonymity is not a meme. The authorities rely on anonymity too for their psyop and surveillance.

We all know the government can access our info through two channels; court orders and intelligence agencies that regularly tap into poster info through telecommunication providers. The problem is when every site starts demanding identification, relying on AI surveillance, DEI cyber protection and selling information to advertisers. Courts and intel don't sell your info to advertisers and usually have at the very least LEA-levels of cyber security.

because all of that are distractions
chasing the media dragon is okay with them as long as you dont become active in any way that can threaten their status quo
i.e. if you leech for your own consumption it is granted that you consume media instead of doing something to challenge the status quo
like building a industrial empire or fund a really popular party or sell the downloaded media from which you would simply gain power through money
also they win twice if you load, since they monitor the entire web they know you break the law but they wont say anything now because its useless to them right now, but should you become a nusiance they can throw that easy bucket at you amont all the other things they got up their sleeve

TOR was compromised from the moment USNI created it. lol. ECC is compromised. They created ECC because they couldn't break RSA. they have total surveillance on the entire internet at the backbone level so it is trivial for them to do packet size/timing correlation traces to match packet streams on an exit node with the originating device. Works across any number of proxy hops. They dont even have to own the exit nodes (but they do for good measure).

Your living in 90s. The noise and time resource arguments are no longer an issue, AI filters through it in seconds.

>they only care if your planning an armed insurrection

wrong.

you have a quantum computer in your head

you are now a collateral asset against your countries debts

ergo, any level of contractual link between you and the state, financial or certain corp bodies means you have identified with the digital profile they have on you

from here, you are primed to be ''ceased'' as a collateral against the debt

your brain is wetware being sold off by the state through secret (or open and encoded agreements)

they are leasing the signal to your brain

forget about people reading your email, they can read your mind

only worse, its a read write system

kek my aussie friend William always described Tor and VPNs as moving from a pool full of piss into a glass of dirty ass water.

William wasn't a good person and never got caught doing his bad things before peacefully passing away last year.

>All anon/privacy software is basically a sting operation

I've known this since 1995. No, I have never used a VPN or hid behind a proxy for privacy reasons... maybe I have used a VPN to bypass some regional lockouts or a website that I may have been banned from... which is not the same thing at all..
