Some European style leftists often point out that the US Democrat party hates leftists more than the Republicans do.
Denmark is an example of European leftism uncorrupted by US policies (ironically the German left parties have all been coopted by American interests).
You'll notice Denmark is considered far right by the US, and by Germany, France and the UK.
Meanwhile every other nation acknowledges they're simply a leftist nation.

So by old definitions where Leftism meant
People of the Nation > Businesses of the Nation > Businesses of Other Nations > People of Other Nations, is very different from what the US and its vassals define leftism as.
