You can deny it all you want, but if Serbia didn't start their greenskin invasion West of Drina, Kosovo would never have been able to leave. Not only would the resources and army not be exhausted, but you also wouldn't go into Kosovo with all the ethnic cleansing and genocide baggage that lead to you being bombed. Only reason Serbia was bombed in 1999 is because it got away with too much shit since 1991.
