I'm not, (You) are.
>journalistJoe Rogan is *not* a journalist. Neither is Candace Owens.
Tucker Carlson, and Glenn Greenwald are journalists. They were known for their written work (Tucker in magazine publishing, and GG for his investigative pieces and establishment of The Intercept online paper) prior to having podcasts.
Also for example both Tucker and Greenwald were forced out of the establishment corporate media, in different ways, which caused them to establish their online "podcast" presence. Greenwald was forced out of and fired from his own newspaper, The Intercept after he published work on the 2020 Hunter Biden laptop story which was censored in the United States. Tucker was forced out of FoxNews, while he was their most popular/highest rated program, when he started talking against pharmaceutical corporations (<--Fox's biggest $$$$$$$$ sponsor)
>"talkshow"the online video podcast with long-form 1+ hour duration interviews has become a non-legacy media 'standard'. Rogan (a stand up comic) started his podcast way back in 2009 and was a pioneer in this format, he simply wanted to interview people on topics he was interested in and enthusiastic about, and also weren't typically being covered or shown in corporate legacy mainstream media platforms. Now almost two decades later, he's become 'top of the heap' and the one to beat, which is overall a reflection on how much audience demand for content such as this exists, and isn't/wasn't being provided by corporate controlled media.
