I find statues like these an extra level of amusing because these statues are always meant to be celebrating someone actually doing something. No statue is just "completely random white guy".

They opened a popeyes by me and I thought "Oh great, more niggers".
Incredibly, it went out of business in less than 6 months.
They built a new building for this popeyes and now it's empty and they're not even doing the landscaping in busy shopping area.
