I think it is Thiel who's trying to tamp down on Nick. I think he's right about that. But that said, I don't think Tucker is a bad guy or some enemy, or even Thiel for that matter.
The thing is, Nick's position kind of chafes at me.
Because on the one hand he wants to remove jews from the US, but on the other hand, he wants to shut down Israel, which is where they would be going. So what's gonna happen if you do that? A powder keg. The Trump/Thiel idea is more like, a natural separation will occur. I also like how they embrace the ruthless Israeli mindset against immigrants, we're gonna need that to take the country back, rather than some all-inclusive christianity based on niceness.
My main gripe with Trump and co. is that it seems like he's giving Israel everything they want, and not getting enough in return. They pulled back woke culture and did some immigration raids, great, but let's see the demographics actually start to change. Because if we give Israel too much, they will indeed cut us loose at some point, and we could be fucked in that situation.
I think Nick calling out Israel's genocide makes them bear the cost of their actions, and that's exactly what should be done. But I don't like how he's moralizing about the rights of the oppressed and stuff. he goes into this simpering christian stuff far too easily. We need more of a warrior mindset.
