How will the wagies cope when AGI hits like a digital tsunami in two years, and every office drone, manager, coder, and gig worker is obsolete overnight? No more middle-management LARPing, no more pretending your Slack messages matter—just cold silence as the machine does it better, faster, and without whining for health insurance. Western elites won’t offer UBI or dignity—just rebranded euthanasia booths in pastel colors. “Die with grace,” they’ll say, while influencers livestream their final moments for clout. The grind will end not with a promotion, but with a state-approved death certificate and a TikTok filter.
Meanwhile, in China, neon megacities will shimmer under AI-designed skies, where robots cook gourmet meals, drones deliver everything, and citizens receive monthly UBI in quantum-encrypted yuan. Smart apartments adjust to mood, health is monitored in real time, and boredom is a relic of the past. Kids will master AI ethics in kindergarten while Americans debate gender on collapsing infrastructure. The U.S. will rot under tent cities, suicide pods, and VR escapism, ruled by pharma cartels and geriatric billionaires. The East will rise into post-scarcity harmony while the West livestreams its own collapse in 4K.
>>512119394 (OP)It's already begun. AGI is already a thing, chatgpt is just catching up with other long term projects. Here in Canada they've announced the closure of the translation department because a.i. is the same or better at translation to any language. To counter act the mass unemployment in may 2025 the UBI bill hit parliament.
This scenario is already happening. Heres the real issue. Once 5% of adoption takes place it'll go from 5% to 30-40% in months. This drastic change is the fulcrum of mass unemployment. Basically there will be ALOT of people with nothing to do on government gibs. I strongly suggest to anyone reading to get on social now instead later, it will be completely insane trying to get things etup.

>>512119394 (OP)This is what we're doing here so our society doesn't burn to the ground. The USA, whatever...other people's fuckin problems
Bill S-206 proposes a national Guaranteed Livable Basic Income (GLBI) for Canadians aged 17+, offering unconditional monthly payments without work or education requirements. It emphasizes adjusting income to regional living costs and ensures existing benefits—like health or disability—aren’t reduced. The bill tasks the Minister of Finance with developing the framework within a year of its passage, in consultation with provinces, territories, and Indigenous communities. While it sets goals, it doesn’t outline exact payment amounts, funding methods, or eligibility specifics. A pilot program is anticipated in 2026, potentially offering up to $2,400/month to lower- and middle-income residents, beginning in Ontario and British Columbia. This effort follows previous bills (S-233 and C-223) that didn’t pass but spurred national dialogue. Supporters view GLBI as a tool to combat poverty and modernize Canada’s safety net, while critics question its cost and impact on employment. It’s more framework than policy—but a meaningful move toward economic reform.
>>512119394 (OP)Last time I checked robots didnt contribute to funding welfare, neither did billionaires decide to pay taxes
And if wondering a year isn't long enough. The magic number of 5% is established next month and by Jan 2026 it'll lift off like a rocket. Their proposal of a year to think about things isn't going to work out. People will start getting desperate long before a decision is made. And I'm willing to bet a lot of government suits are murdered in their beds before the project is turn keyed.
Leave people with zero options they will make it happen in blood to correct a change. Don't ever fucking forget that.
Ever.
>>512122177You don't understand. We're moving into a cashless communist society in five years. You will own nothing and be happy.
>>512122283That's 2 year old tech. You can now purchase Droid units.
Klaus, aka 8 Ball, already explained what's going on. This is all part of the migration path it has to take socially from a single technology change, just 1 change, that's how powerful a.i. is. Most people under estimate the scale of this change and are completely under prepared. Top to bottom changes are being made. WILL BE made regardless of who's daddy owns what. That's the cost of having 8.5 BILLION ASSES AND MOUTHS.
Glad everyone had fun, party's over. The next stage is going to be very uncomfortable for a lot of people. Plan on it and FYI, hiding from it won't help. This is already in motion.
>>512123516China. Bring money. 130k euros for a Droid fuck doll/housekeeper
>>512119394 (OP)Get a real job where rubber meets road or burger meets bun. Imagine how much more productive we will be when the entire middle section of our economy actually does real work like take out the trash or mow the lawn.
>>512123698They won't be though. They've had a couple of testing sites here in ottawa for robot "burger joints". Basically an Atco trailer refitted and the Uber delivery guys pick up from the Atco trailer that makes the entire menu for four different burger franchise places.
For trucks...dude, in 5 years you won't own a car. Most of you will be lucky enough to be allowed to drive after heavy bureaucratic paperwork to merely qualify you to travel. Basically the future is north American minimum security prison...just like you all enjoyed during covid.
>>512119394 (OP)>Western elites won’t offer UBI or dignity>“Die with grace,” they’ll sayGee, if only this nation had over 100 million gun owners...
How will (((Western elites))) cope when their hubris crashes headfirst into reality?
>>512119394 (OP)Many people I know, probably most, like change, but not at this pace...
Most of my friends won't care about all these AI news and will do everything their own way, as they're used to.
And if AI will force them to change their behavior, they will organize and fucking rebel man.
>>512124693Exactly. They're going to go to war. The USA is fucked and it won't be a couple months of public military action. It'll go for decades.
>>512124930why would they give you ubi ? they just want to die anyway, the jews have set up that all the white collar job will go to them and indians. they don't give a fuck about you, non white have ubi it is welfare, why would they give white people anything ?
>>512124930>They're going to go to war. They won't. They always get others to go to war for them. Military exercises repeatedly show that over half of the US armed forces would defect if the US government tried to attack or disarm American citizens. And among those that stayed, many would turn to sabotage. And the total number of armed forces is only 1 million, with the actual number that would remain loyal to Big Gov at maybe 25% of that. You'd likely see even more defections among police forces, which also numbers only about 1 million cops in total.
This isn't going to work like OP suggests. At least not in America.
>>512124693You will do NOTHING talk mad shit.
Beat your chest.
And do absolutely NOTHING
>>512125979Odd that the US government believes the American people WILL do something. They know they can't disarm the populace because that would result in a revolution. Every simulation they try says the same thing. You're just bitter because you surrendered your guns, your knives, and your self-respect for... Wait, why did you give it all up again?
>>512124693LMAO like your Wal-Mart AR is going to save you from a drone-strike or an assassination robot running up to you. Americans are, at heart, spineless authoritarian bootlickers.
