It isn't 1910 anymore. Women have had rights for a long time now and legal superiority since at least the 70's. They act like vengeful peasants but expect to be treated like graceful queens. They abort their own children so much it would make a Moloch worshipper weep with dread. There aren't many reasons to get together anymore so most young people don't. Not beyond getting a quickie anyway. Men can't be men if they are last in line for hiring, if they can even find a job to begin with.

"Women and children first" was never a thing in life boats.
Men were needed to row the boats away from danger. A sinking ship will suck down a life boat with it when the water becomes less dense from agitation from the air escaping from the sinking vessel and the life boats lose buoyancy.
