not all the time, and not if you're not using them. breaking keto once or twice a week ensures you stay insulin sensitive, so your body uses the carbs and knows how to deal with them. do that instead of eating simple carbs every day (unless you use them, if you're a sedentary keyboard warrior you're killing yourself)
