It pains me that since that fateful day in 2001, Americans have not only willing signed up for, but vehemently demanded to trade freedom for security, forever altering the course of time. Needless to say, Jefferson is rolling in his grave. Poor Edward Snowden thought he was a whistleblower- but how can one blow the whistle about a program that exists to meet the needs Americans demanded? He simply broadcast to the world that this is what we voted for, and indeed, it was.
