>MAGA learns in real time that tariffs increase prices for goods and services across the board
Why is it that MAGA is the only demographic that consistently can only learn new information from having to physically experience it, firsthand? I guess, in fairness, all populism is cached in emotion and feelings, but they stand out more since they took over an entire political party.

I'm glad to see people admitting that taxes increase prices but is it so much to ask that you apply this lesson to your own policies, i.e. stop advocating for more taxes?

Like, we literally did this six years ago, and all of the local/American business raised their prices, too, because competition was reduced. It's economics 101.

It is funny because the left argued for years including on /pol/ that raising taxes does not increase prices. Now the left is screaming that tariffs are taxes and taxes raise the price of goods and services. Most of you niggers do not have a reference to even understand the situation

MAGA are incapable of logic.
>deport our cheap labor and restrict cheap imports
>companies have to hire American workers
>American workers want more money, better benefits, and less hours
*SOMETHING FUCKING MAGICAL HAPPENS HERE*
>Companies don't automate the jobs away, raise wages for even the least skilled jobs, don't raise prices to compensate for increased costs, and remain competitive in international markets
And I guess we all get free coke and Lamborghinis sometime around this point. Fucking goobers.

None of this shit has ever worked.

>deport cheap labor
Illegals are not cheap. They are a lot more expensive than using americans because of the enormous damage they cause everyone and everywhere around them, including to the product they are "helping" create.
They aren't used because they are cheap, but because they aren't taxed. Taxes artificially increases the cost of labor for americans. Remove the tax and you remove the incentive to use shitskins.

The thing that I notice is this is always presented as a tax on producers - "Canadian maple syrup producers reel under 35% tarriff" which is asburd. They continue to sell maple syrup as before. The people who pay the tax are consumers.

Taxes could raise prices, but taxes could be on aything from estate transfers to supplemental income (gambling, royalties, patents, etc). There is fair chance most people wont see a higher cost or inflation from these taxes. Tariffs, however, 100% will increase prices, because they're directly in the supply chain.
You do understand the difference? Right?

Ofc it will, retard. The only reason he has a business is that he imports, undercutting domestic production and then creating a reliance industry based on cheap slave labour.

They had months to shore up investments and make changes on personal imports.

I make injection mold figurines, importing premade figures was going to become expensive so we had the molds made in Kansas and now make them in my garage. We have better quality control amd can make small batch and not have to sit on cases for a year because a figure didnโ€™t sell

they 100% REFUSE your reality
they will swear down into their grave what you tell them isnt true

but THIS thing? this NEW "UNFORSEEN" thing?
"NOBODY could have predicted it!"
"This isnt what you said its just a new different bad thing that i'm experiancing which has the exact same effect!"

I guarantee you if you ask them what the caus is they will come up wth some long winding and squirming weasel answer to say "well were both wrong and i dont know how this couldve happened"

theyll never admit or agree

>the machines breaking down to scrap metal wasn't a part of at least one board member's plan
Nah it was just the usual chink QC. They lied about every single spec. We had an entire workshop just to rewire the motors. We had shafts breaking, heads warping, controller shitting itself out of nowhere. One time mechanichs pulled out the whole drum and send it to a machinist to center it cause it was 4 degrees offset.
>A lathe's a lathe anon, look how much money we can save. Don't fall for the brand-name meme.
