Yes. I remember for a long time I could not accept Christs teachings because I had such string worldly attachments and ambitions and I simply could not let go

After spending years reading old literature though, my romanticism of the past faded away, and seeing the state of the world, I see no room for a better future and all of my worldly ambitions crumbled to dust before my very eyes

I am laughing because the world is shit. It's not going to shit. Every waking moment of this worlds existence is one of abject horror on an unimaginable scale. Everything built will rust and crumble to dust, eroded by the sands of time. it's already shit, and always has been. I understand this now, and in that understanding I have found freedom, clarity of thought, and real direction

You cant save the world, but you can save your own soul and touch the lives of the people around you and make them better
