When you throw that math in with communism as a system (no government, everyone is provided for) it doesn't work at a fundamental level because there's no pressure to acquire more resources. Everybody would sit around doing fuck all because there's no reason not to, and then they all starve to death because no one is performing any useful labour. This is one of the reasons why the system never progresses past the authoritarian socialism stage.
If you ever read Das Kapital, even Marx acknowledges this. That was the entire point of his elaboration on communism requiring a "New Man", but the problem is that you can't just rewire the human condition overnight through policy. Even if you could, most of humanity is going to view it as an infringement on their individuality and fight it.
Communism is a purely theoretical system with no practical application. At most, the ideology is used by people to drum up popular support (we'll give you anything you want) to enact social change (put us in charge).
