It's actually kind of funny how you won't find fuck huge property in Japan but on average the houses are somehow more spacious and newer ones use better materials and standards than the average American home for at least twice the price. There's like 3 convenient stores nearby and a train station within a 5 minute walk, yet the rent is cheaper than the shitbox I was living in back in the US.
