In my town alone there have been several closings over the years; Applebee's, Red Lobster, Sirloin Stockade, Western Sizzlin, Shlotzkey's, Carl's Jr., Perkins, Goldie's, Fazoli's, Zaxby's, Taco Mayo, Jack in the Box, and yes, even Popeye's. The local restaurants come and go even more often. Somehow, IHOP is still open.
