Rate my chickpea and cabbage soup, /pol/
I myself have made the broth with ham leg, chicken and beef bones. The cabbage is from my garden

No, I'm Spaniard. It's an invention of mine, a variation of a Spanish dish called "cocido"

>>512313847
Yes, if you like raw vegetables. I personally prefer salmorejo, which has hard-boiled egg and breadcrumbs

I have always made the broth this way. The more bones, the better. Especially browned in the oven. The ham bones are from Serrano ham legs. The cow bones are from the knee

As I said above, it's a variant of the cocido (pic related)
The texture of the chickpeas with the short noodles is incredible. The chickpeas are of a large type, from Salamanca

Like adding a bit of crumbled rosemary or lavender for that touch of flavor. You will have to experience yourself as I have zero knowledges and probably will give you heart attack by using dill, fennel or whatever else.

The vermicelli will swell into a mush and will lose all bite resistance so I would avoid adding it into the broth unless you're making a single serving. The Chickpeas being similar to split pea goes well with smoked ham (picrel).

Cabbage with ham works well also but why vermicelli if it's not a chicken noodle soup?
