I rented a Tesla Model 3 last year for a family trip in Okinawa.
The car is not bad, but not really that special and charging was indeed annoying, specially bad as my hotel didn't have a charger and I didn't even drive that much.
The air conditioner sucked too. Unless the car was moving, it didn't really work at all. I've driven shitboxes with better AC than Tesla.
