Just as an example, what would the housing market look like without cartel money laundering and infinite african/indian immigrants? And what happens to the job market when a massive fraction of the population owns a home and doesn't pay rent? Additionally, what happens if you further cut the supply of workers in half by sending women back to the home as it was in 1930? How about the efficiency gain of returning to public transit now that it's safe, clean, and comfortable for the native population? I've been thinking about Keynes a lot lately. It's a logical system. I still believe in it but it clearly isn't functioning in modern western nations. the mechanisms have been so abused and neutered and bastardized that it's meaningless to even discuss economic theory outside of very specific policy realities.
