IDK for the rest, but try to be creative when you ask yourself why we would evolve things we describe as "flaws". Evolution doesn't always benefit from giving all of us a clear view of why it's doing things. Evolution is looking out for all of us as a group and as individuals. Evolution is inclined to make people anti-social unless they are treated to genetically preferential treatment by the group.
