The only thing Vegas is good for is for a cheap flight and rental car out west if you want to use it as a starting point for a road trip. I did that last year. Spent one night walking around Vegas and it struck me as the shittiest tourist trap I've ever seen in my life. I’ve been to Vegas a few times for actual business, the only fun thing there that is free is Fremont street, they have regular free concerts and street performers and it’s about as good of a Vegas experience as you can realistically get. Maybe you can walk around the strip and catch a water or fire show or walk into the hotels and see the entertainment in there like circus circus or in general the art and scenery inside the different spots but that’s basically it. There is plenty of paid entertainment from magic to concerts to just about everything you can imagine and that’s cool, you definitely won’t be able to do it all but can pick something you like, it’ll be overpriced though.
