Liberalism was the first attempt to break away from goodness and the lessons of what should and shouldn't be done by the antichristians who call themselves Jew.
They explicitly wanted to do the things you shouldn't because it gave them a sense of power over their circumstances, even though it would cost them their families and their lives.
Socialism was liberalism 2.0. Globalism and its various young leader instruments are liberalism 3.0.
Always remember to ask when people say they wanna break free, from what do they actually want to break free.
They might tell you "from dad", "from tyranny", "from the church", but fundamentally they wanna break free from God, goodness, the sacrifices of Jesus that critically terminated all fears of sin for the Kingdom of Heaven is guaranteed so relax already, and every other useful earthly lesson about life that the Catholic and Orthodox traditions built up and preserved over the centuries.
You could even view Protestantism the same way, a prototype for liberalism, breaking away from Catholic dogma. One of the first things they decided was a good idea, was the birth sin: you're a sinner for being born and you will labour your whole life to pay for it or you go to hell. Didn't Jesus' sacrifice pay for every sin? Sounds like an antichristian sentiment in the protty environment to me.
I bring it up since religious freedom was a strong motivating part of the American and French revolutions as well.
