I have tried talking to my parents about how the economy is fucked yet they still think that I am some prodigy that's going to live an opulent lifestyle.

They hate living in my Rust Belt city yet don't believe me when I tell them that our house is only worth like $100K, and anywhere they want to move has houses going for like $250-300K now, so they, mid 50 year olds, would be stuck with a giant mortgage with that 7% interest rate.

It's like these people are so much older than us zoomers yet they are so dumb and illiterate and believe anything they see in Fox News.

My Gen-X family believes that without any degree you can get 6-figures if you "know where to look".
Also they worship MLK despite being terrified of niggers, and can't admit they have racialist / racist tendencies.
So self absorbed and self righteous, and Gen-X is apparently right about everything.

I don't get why everyone says "Oh, Gen X is so different from Boomers." That's bullshit. Gen X are basically the same as Boomers in mentality.
