>>512451136I can't offer any complete defense but it seems you are being (a little, at least) disingenuous. I could point a finger at Canada, knowing that your condition is far worse than ours .. but I won't. I will say that the vast majority of this destruction took place in liberal strongholds. This served to punish and, even, turn some from their defective ideals.
I will say that I believe we would be in a better situation now if there had been an uprising. That a weeding-out of the vermin would have been worth it. I also say that the government (and not just ours) has done an excellent job at brainwashing the populace towards docility. I'm not saying the fighting spirit is dead, it's just that people have been 'boiled-frogged' into accepting large iterations of small losses for small pleasures and have been made to believe that total commitment would mean total loss.
There are actors in this very thread, making pre-calculated statements to keep the discourse flowing in particular directions .. or, at least, away from certain topics. Some may comment on this post.
The tl;dr is that I disagree with your notion of National Pride death. I think that Trump is approaching this problem from a different angle (and winning). And I do think that there are (and will always be) points of no return for the limit a people will tolerate.
