The MIXED economy we live under really is a lot more socialist than capitalist. And what I mean by that is that the government and its central bank drives the economy, not organic market forces. You don't have private property if you pay property taxes, and it isn't a free market if every industry has to compete with CCP-subsidised companies that use slave labour.

When leftists complain about capitalism I like to ask them how they feel about the 19th century or the pre-war era, because that was the last time the USA or UK was remotely capitalist. Government spending was a tiny fraction of GDP back then, whereas it is half now, probably higher in reality.
