I got a new PC last year and it came preloaded with win11. Had to debloat it and also installed Open-Shell in order to get the normal windows 7 style start menu and file explorer, after these fixes it worked fine but still annoying I have to "fix" the OS in the first place.

I'm glad i bought the steam deck to dip my toes into linux. Took me like 3 days to figure out how to get it to work after swapping out a 512gb ssd for a 2tb one. Windows 11 LTSC however does not have any of this, Windows 11 LTSC with chris titus script specifically has 0 annoyances, it is clean, responsive. But the biggest problem with it is that it doesn't hold your hand at all and expects you to fully understand how the system works from the get go. That's because OSs have a tendency to become more component-based as time goes on, introducing more and more components, each of which is tied into the system's basic operation and loads a ton of its own stuff at startup. Just count how many DLLs there are in Win 10 vs Win 7. And usually these can't be disabled either, because doing so just hides them from view, but they'll still remain in memory waiting to be reactivated.
