If there really was a magic chemical that allowed people to remain youthful it would be studied and synthesized and put into a pill. Imagine if it was real, why keep doing the super dangerous and difficult work of capturing and killing kids and having to deal with literal blood everywhere? Who knows what diseases they'll catch?
