Yes. They literally were doing it under Obama. It's why there was a massive mainstream rebellion against Trump 1, but a far less subdued response after Trump 2. Since he kicked a lot of them out in his first term and Sleepy Joe was too senile and a incompetent puppet to have reverted it back quick enough.
