Christianity banned all non-Christian religions except Judaism during the Middle Ages in Europe. OP is not historically accurate at all.
It was more like a large number of Germanic tribes fleeing the Hun invasion migrated into the Western part of the Empire (which had already started going to shit for internal reasons) until eventually Odoacer was able to depose the last Roman emperor in the West in 476.
However, Odoacer was an Arian Christian, not a pagan and he definitely didn't shut down the Roman Christian church or really interfere with it at all.
However, that wasn't actually the end of the Roman Empire, it still existed, it was just based in Constantinople instead of Rome. They were eventually even able to reconquer the Italian peninsula during Justinian's reign.
Italy and the actual city of Rome was later retaken by the Germanic Lombards, but it wasn't really a conquest, they basically just walked in and took over because the population had collapsed.
Oh, and the Lombards had also converted to Christianity well before they entered Italy.
The Roman Empire itself lasted for another 1000 years, in an extremely Christian form, until Constantinople was captured in 1453 by the Ottomans, who were Islamic, not pagan.
